This session reviews moisture, air, vapor and thermal control concepts for masonry walls and explains where to locate these control layers and other wall system accessories to create durable masonry walls. Many contemporary details and installation photos will be presented to demonstrate options for water-resistive barriers, air barriers, flashing, insulation, weep vents, veneer anchors, and movement joints.

walls, air barriers, movement joints, rain screen walls, troubleshooting,
adhered veneers and high performing wall systems. He has a Bachelor of Architecture
from the University of Minnesota.
